PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING NOTICE

In accordance with Article 13 of the EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter, "GDPR"), we inform you that your data regarding website browsing activities will be processed as follows:

1. Processing purposes:

The Data Controller processes the following data:


1.1 Data Processing on the Website

Browsing Data: The IT systems and software procedures responsible for this website's functionality collect certain personal data, which is implicitly transmitted when using Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals; however, it could potentially allow user identification. This category of data includes IP addresses or computer domain names used by users, URIs (Uniform Resource Identifiers) of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, numerical codes indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters regarding the user's operating system and computer environment. This data may only be used to obtain anonymous statistical information on site usage and to verify its proper operation, and it is immediately deleted after processing. Such data may also be used to establish responsibility in the event of cybercrimes against the website. Processing is necessary to ensure the functionality of the Internet site; the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.

Voluntarily Provided Data: Voluntary submission of personal data by the user, by filling out information request forms (request form, subscribe & follow our updates), leads to the acquisition of data necessary for the requested service or response to inquiries. The processing is for the purpose of providing services requested by the user, specifically in the food industry sector, as well as for related administrative and accounting purposes. The legal basis is either the performance of a contract involving the data subject or pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject.


1.2 Data Processing for Regular Business Operations

Personal data (e.g., name, surname, company name, address, telephone, email, bank, and payment details) provided during contract finalization will be processed for the following purposes: a) To provide requested services through the website managed by the company; the legal basis is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the data subject's request. b) To comply with legal, regulatory, or EU law obligations, as well as fiscal, accounting, and administrative requirements; the legal basis is the necessity to comply with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject. c) For the sending of newsletters; the legal basis is the data subject's consent.


2. Data Processing Methods and Duration
2.1 Website Data Processing

Data will be processed electronically, ensuring lawful and fair handling in full compliance with applicable regulations and confidentiality. Data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the underlying purpose of the processing.


2.2 Data Processing for Regular Business Operations

Pursuant to Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, we inform you that your data will be:

  • processed in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, and transparency;
  • handled with adequate security measures to protect your integrity and confidentiality;
  • collected in the manner necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes and processed in a way that is not incompatible with these purposes;
  • stored on paper forms and/or digital or electronic media, protected and safeguarded in compliance with the applicable regulations;
  • retained for 10 years after the termination of the relationship, for the period prescribed by civil and fiscal regulations and/or for a duration not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed.

3. Data Access and Communication
3.1 Website Data Processing

The data will not be disseminated and will be processed by authorized personnel. For exclusively organizational and functional purposes, some service providers functional to the management of the Website or the service offered have been appointed as external data processors for purposes strictly connected and related to the services offered.


3.2 Data Processing for Regular Business Operations

Your data may:

  1. be known to employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, in their capacity as appointees and/or system administrators;
  2. be disclosed to third-party companies or other entities (such as, but not limited to, agent networks, factoring companies, debt collection companies, commercial information companies, credit institutions, professional firms, consultants, insurance companies, etc.) that carry out outsourced activities on behalf of the Data Controller.

Personal data will not be disseminated.


4. Data Transfer

The personal data are stored on servers located within the European Union. However, it is understood that the Data Controller, if necessary, will have the right to move the servers outside the EU. In this case, the Data Controller ensures that the transfer of data outside the EU will take place in compliance with the applicable legal provisions, subject to the stipulation of the standard contractual clauses provided by the European Commission.


5. Nature of Data Provision and Consequences of Refusal
5.1 Website Data Processing

The provision of data through form completion is optional.


5.2 Data Processing for Regular Business Operations

The provision of the data required for the purposes referred to in point 1.2, letters a) and b), is necessary for the proper performance of the company's activities and for the effective management and provision of the related services, and failure to provide them will prevent the company from fulfilling the requested services.

The provision of the data required for the purposes referred to in point 1.2, letter c), is optional and requires specific consent; if consent for such activities is not given, this will not affect the provision of the requested service.


6. Rights of the Data Subject

The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation from the Data Controller as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed and, if so, to access the personal data, request their rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing. They have the right to object to the processing at any time, including in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes or automated decision-making. Additionally, they have the right to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
