Just a few short weeks ago, the coronavirus outbreak seemed to be far from Indonesia. However, since Indonesian’s first case occurred on March 1, 2020, the government has begun to urge people to keep their lifestyle healthy and also make a clean-living habit.

The first step made by the Java Biocolloid Group is to review the protocol for ensuring the safety and health of our workers. We emphasize the importance of cleanliness, raising awareness of the coronavirus outbreak and reviewing employees who want to travel.

The first social responsibility is undertaken by the Java Biocolloid Group on 12 March 2020 by distributing hand sanitizers to kindergarten and elementary schools in the city of Surabaya, Indonesia, with the hope of increasing student awareness about the importance of regular cleaning. Some of these include Santo Xaverius Catholic Elementary School, Santa Angela Catholic Primary School, Krembangan Public Elementary School, and the Taman Rini Kindergarten Surabaya.

Java Biocolloid along with the Hakiki Group hopes that this difficult event will soon pass and we can all gain valuable learning to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
