agar RA is a food grade white-yellowish, fine and free-flowing powder extracted from red
seaweed (Class Rhodophyceae). It is a food additive widely applied in various food products as
a gelling agent (gel strength from 400 to 1200 g/cm2) for its extraordinary capacity to bind
water and form a stable gel with minimum syneresis.
Suggested for the following applications: confectionery, dessert gels, dairy, canned meat,
vegan and vegetarian foods
