This September, the team of Java Biocolloid Europe hosted the grand opening ceremony of its brand new production plant in Trieste's Industrial Port.
The ceremony was attended by esteemed representatives of the Hakiki Group, Lisiani Wirjanto and Mc Donny Watad Nagasan and many local authorities and entrepreneurs from various institutions.
Lino Paravano spoke about the long partnership between the Hakiki and Paravano families. Started with the creation of Java Biocolloid, it is now, with the opening of this advanced production facility, celebrating the culmination of over 10 years of dedicated work.
A number of prominent figures of the Trieste business and scientific communities emphasised the importance of JBE's settlement in the region for the local economy. Among them, Enrico Samer, president and CEO of Samer Shipping Group, a strategic parter for JBE in logistics; Prof. Sergio Paoletti, president of AREA Science Park, a key partner for innovation and technological development; Dr. Andrea Travan, representing the BiopoLife research team, a company specialized in the research and development of innovative polymers which JBE recently acquired shares to; Luciana Grimani representing the Trieste city council; and, lastly Zeno d'Agostino, president of the Port Authority, who stressed the value of the synergy between the Port and JBE. Thanks to the infrastructures offered by the Port and the innovation that JBE brings to the table, a strong cooperation is created to face future challenges.
The cutting of Nasi Kuning Tumpeng gave the ceremony an exotic touch and calls back to the Indonesian origins of the project. The catering was managed by Trattoria al Paradiso, who are our partners in the development of recipes using our products in haute cuisine.
